Hello Neighbor!

How are you holding up? This is so hard, for so many people, for so many reasons. Not to mention that it’s a strange time to edit an “events” publication. Everything is closed or canceled while we all hunker down and try to flatten the curve. Who knows when things will get back to normal? The answer changes hourly, and everyone’s nerves are fried. For me, each day brings such a range of emotions, from disbelief to hopefulness to sadness—and back again—that it’s hard to pinpoint exactly how I feel. (Also, homeschooling is no joke.)

Of course, we could opt not to publish, but that doesn’t feel very neighborly. While our world has been turned upside down in a matter of weeks, our goal here at MainLine Neighbors—to uplift, inform, inspire and engage—remains the same. For now, we’re changing our newsletter structure to share innovative ways to connect safely (and maybe even have fun?) during these anxious, uncertain times.

This will pass eventually, and when it does, we’ll return to our regularly scheduled programming. But until then, we hope you’ll stay with us and even share what you’d like us to cover, just in**@ma***************.com" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">email us! We always love to hear what’s on your mind.

Sending you (virtual) hugs,
Kate
