My artwork reflects intensity and strength. Pen and ink is an ideal medium for this purpose. Pure black sharply contrasted with white creates potential for direct and classical imagery. I enjoy the challenge of producing various textures and emotions using only the most basic tools: a black pen mark.

I am currently exploring additional mediums with the intent of capturing the human spirit and my own personal journey. I am learning to draw the figure first using charcoal, then grisaille, and eventually full color. As I evolve, my resulting artwork will become an outlet for the fire that burns within.
