    Ardmore Music Hall
    Live Music;  Performing Arts
The Ardmore Music Hall is a music venue and bar, that will open in September 2013 and will establish itself as a premiere landing spot for many renowned, local and national touring musical acts. The room itself holds as much history as any local venue in the Philadelphia or surrounding suburbs; from 1980 to 1994, the legendary 23 East Cabaret sat within the same walls, and hosted an infamous array of artists from The Dave Mathews Band, to Blues Traveler, Hootie & The Blowfish, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Phish, The Hooters, Joan Osborne and so many more. From 1996 to 2009, although the room became primarily a cover band venue, Brownies 23 East hosted national attractions such as Cheap Trick, Los Lobos, The Cherry Poppin Daddys, Merle Saunders, Vince Welnick, Melvin Seals, Steve Kimock, New Riders of The Purple Sage and more. We are proud to take on the challenge of bringing the former glory of the venue back to life. Features include a state-of-the-art sound system, a wide dance space perfect for an excited dance party, 12 craft beers on draught, a low & intimate stage, flat screen TVs for show projections. Parking is always free with a parking lot at our back door, across the street, and adjacent to. We are easily accessible by public transportation with the R-5 regional line at our back door. http //www.septa.org/schedules/rail/w/PAO_1.html

Four years ago, distressed about cuts in music education and affordability of quality music concert tickets, four women began the process of bringing their dream to reality: offer excellent live orchestra concerts, featuring prominent soloists at a convenient location, with free admission. They specifically sought out an exemplary conductor and music director with a philosophy that focuses on the process as much as the final product of the concert, and were fortunate to find Maestro Gary D. White who fosters this approach. They committed to operating as a business to stay fiscally sound, collaborating in a respectful, positive manner, and building a musical performance outlet for adults in the community. Now finishing its second season, Orchestra Concordia has already planned the third season of making outstanding music accessible to all by offering free admission concerts to the public supported by grants and donations.
