Discover what happens at the Zoo after the sun goes down at Elmwood Park Zoo’s “Zoo Snooze” overnight campouts! Spend a night under the stars with your favorite animal friends and enjoy outdoor family time in a safe and unique environment!
Zoo Snooze provides a great camping experience for both first-time and seasoned campers. Campouts take place on one Friday per month (June through October). Each Zoo Snooze is uniquely themed and allows guests to experience Elmwood Park Zoo in a whole new way! Zoo Snooze campouts are recommended for children ages 4 and up.
Outside food & beverage is permitted, but coolers will be checked upon entering the zoo. Outside alcohol is strictly prohibited, and any guests caught with it will be asked to leave the event without refund.
Tickets are $49.95 per non-Member and $34.95 per Member; kids ages 0 to 2 are free.
Price includes admission, pizza dinner, activities, a movie and popcorn under the stars, s’mores by the campfire and breakfast in the morning.Add a Souvenir Campout Kit (safari hat, flashlight keychain and binoculars) for only $19.95 more!All campers are required to provide their own camping equipment.

- Bug spray
- Weather appropriate outerwear- ponchos/ jackets
- Toiletries

Guests can book a private zoo snooze for any groups larger than 25.
Scouts! consider enhancing your Zoo snooze experience by adding on daytime scout workshop for only $8.95 per scout.
Please note: Online registration closes on the Wednesday before each campout. After this date, registration must be completed by phone.
Please note: Other events may be held throughout the zoo during your zoo snooze.
