The Underground Railroad Museum at Belmont Mansion is open for tours.
Tours daily, weekends by appointment. Supported by the American Women’s Heritage Society, the only African-American Women’s organization to administer an historic mansion in Fairmount Park. One of the finest examples of Palladian architecture in the country, it is now dedicated to colonial history and the 19th century’s “underground railroad.”
