The GIANT Main Line Run

5k Run/ 1.5 Walk. This is a fabulous USA Track and Field (USATF) approved 5K Run / 1.5 Walk, raises scholarship money for the Main Line’s volunteer first responders, firefighters and EMTs . The USATF sanction means that the run is part of the Mid-Atlantic circuit of races, places it shoulder to shoulder with the Broad Street Run and the Philadelphia Marathon. The event allows you to run or walk down Lancaster Avenue through the heart of the Main Line and the beautiful streets of Wayne PA. It’s challenging enough for the professional runner, yet it offers the small town feel to allow you go at your own pace.

This well-organized Run offers a health and fitness expo with booths from local vendors, great tech shirts and chip timing. There are cash awards for the top three finishers, both Female and Male categories. We also have a Master’s division awarding $50 to the top Female and Male runner above the age of 40. Medals are also given out to the top three finishers in each age group, both female and male. Lastly, top three teams are given trophies. Jogging Strollers welcome and we do NOT allow dogs. Registration is $15 until May 31st, $20 until July 4th and then $25 until race day. Race Day registration is $30. You may sign up in person on Pre-Race Packet Pick-up or the day of the race – Cash or Check only. Packet Pick-Up can be either the morning of the race or at the Pre-Race Packet pick up on Saturday, September 7, 2019 from 10 AM – 2 PM at Giant Food Store, 550 E. Lancaster Ave. in St. Davids, PA.

Day-of Packet Pick-Up and registration is at the race location only: 175 Strafford Road, Wayne PA on Sunday September 8th, 2019 at 7 AM.
