She Loves Me

Travel to Maraczek’s Parfumerie in 1930s Budapest where shop clerks Georg Nowack and Amalia Balash bicker constantly at work, unaware they are each other’s secret pen pal met through lonely-hearts ads. Considered by many to be the most charming musical ever written, SHE LOVES ME is the third adaptation of the play, Parfumerie by Hungarian playwright, Miklos Laszlo, following the 1940 film, The Shop around the Corner, and the 1949 Judy Garland and Van Johnson musical film, In the Good Old Summertime. The play was later adapted to film once more with Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks in You’ve Got Mail.
