Phoenixville Public Library will host a talk by local author Mark Lanyon on Thursday, June 15 at 6:45 PM.  His new book is Abolition & the Underground Railroad in Chester County, Pennsylvania.  Chester County was home to a diverse patchwork of religious communities, antislavery activists and free Black populations, all working to end the blight of slavery during the Civil War era.
