JFCS is launching three unique afterschool volunteer programs that encourage children and teens to experience and learn the Jewish values of justice, service, and “repairing the world,” and provide opportunities to put these values into action.
Kids Program – for ages 8 – 12
Thursdays at 4:30 PM, twice a month from February 18 – May 27
Feb. 18 & 25, Mar. 11 & 25, Apr. 8 & 22, May 13 & 27
B’Nai Mitzvah Program
For any young person preparing for their Bar or Bat Mitzvah. Register in advance for individual volunteering opportunities.
Teen Program – for ages 14 – 17
Kickoff: Thursday, February 18 at 5:30 PM. Additional dates will be decided in conversation with teens (3 – 4 sessions total).
