Friday Social: Life in Color by Nevin Johnson

We’re super excited to have local legend and photographer Nevin Johnson host our next Friday Social. Johnson is a Philadelphia-based artist whose work delves deep into the essence of color.

Johnson’s art is a genuine and personal exploration of the world as he sees it, saturated with life’s vivid hues. In his own words, Johnson eloquently captures his artistic philosophy: “My photography is an exploration of the extraordinary within the ordinary. I believe that every color has a story, and I am dedicated to telling these stories through my lens. I aim to craft dreamlike scenes with my camera, reminiscent of the Impressionist era’s enchanting use of color. With each photograph I create, I hope to offer a moment of tranquility to the world, encouraging others to see and cherish the extraordinary beauty inherent in our world’s colors.”
