Director Carlos Saura captures twenty-one extraordinary performances by flamenco artists young and old, merging movement, music, image, and stagecraft. Lensed by master cinematographer Vittorio Storaro (Apocalypse Now, The Conformist), this sensuous dance film is an odyssey through the tradition of flamenco and into its future.
