Everyone Eats: Cooking Through Time

Growing and preparing food is an essential part of everyday life.

Listen to “Bring Me Some Apples and I’ll Make You a Pie” by Robbin Gourley and learn about the life of Edna Lewis through an exploration of Colonial Penn’s garden and kitchen. Visit the farm to see hearth cooks in action and learn how people prepared food in the 18th century. Storytimes at 11:30 AM and 1:00 PM.

Participants will receive a seed packet and complimentary tickets to Longwood Gardens.
