Jenna Meissner is a Media native and graduate of the Academy of Notre Dame, Villanova. She is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Temple University’s Lew Klein College of Media and Communications, where she studied journalism with a specialization in broadcast. At PHL17, she is morning traffic anchor, visual and audio editor, news producer, and writer for the morning broadcast.
Monica Cryan grew up in Media and is a graduate of Merion Mercy Academy, Merion Station. She earned a degree in meteorology at The Pennsylvania State University and has pursued her career as a meteorologist for stations in Texas, Alabama, Connecticut, and Colorado, earning the prestigious Certified Broadcast Meteorologist Seal of the Meteorological Society.
The “Delco Duo” began as a weekly podcast on phl17.com. The series’ overwhelming popularity led to a permanent spot in the station’s Saturday night TV lineup. The show offers an up-close and personal look at Jenna and Monica as they dispense advice on life, love, relationships, and real-world problems submitted by viewers. The result is hilarity.
The public is invited to “Dish with the Delco Duo” at the Press Club’s Happy Hour event on Wednesday, April 19, from 5-7 p.m. at Sligo Irish Pub, 113 W. State Street, Media. The cost for members is $25, nonmembers $30. Light fare is included. Tickets are available at https://www.thepressclubpa.org/. Check in on the second floor of Sligo begins at 4:45 p.m.
