Creative Escapes: Painted Silk Pillows

Designed for adults who want to awaken their inner artists, this program will include inspiration from the exhibition Natural Wonders: The Sublime in Contemporary Art, and feature a hands-on silk dyeing activity. Participants will be guided by artist Mary Frances Millet in applying designs and colors to their fabric, and each person will take home a colorful 12×12″ silk pillowcase. No experience necessary.

The museum will open at 5:30 p.m. with the workshop beginning at 6:00 p.m. Cost includes art materials and light refreshments. BYOB!
