Chamber Ballet : The Carnival Of The Animals

The Delaware County Symphony (DCS) concludes their 2018-2019 Chamber Music series with a special Chamber Ballet concert featuring the ever popular Carnival of the Animals by Camille Saint-Saëns. The fun focused ballet was composed for audiences of all ages and it specifically offers an exciting and entertaining pathway for children to experience ballet for the first time. Camille Saint-Saëns delightful masterpiece will be performed by dancers from the Academy of International Ballet (AIB) with new choreography by Co-Artistic Directors Denis Gronostaysky and Anastasia Babayeva.

The program includes a World Premiere performance of Through a Glass, Darkly composed by DCS Artist In Residence Ms. Jennifer Nicole Campbell and choreographed by AIB and a unique composition titled The Wind performed by Katherine Skovira, voice and Robert Whalen, piano/percussion.
