Each autumn, raptors and songbirds flock across our forests and fields, following age-old instincts to fly south for the winter.
Expansive fields and woodlands sustain a variety of avian species at this large preserve. Bring your binoculars and join Natural Lands staffer Debbie Beer for a guided bird walk. We’ll look for migratory and resident birds, including hawks, sparrows, woodpeckers and more. We’ll keep an eye out for local Bald Eagles, and document our findings in eBird to contribute to community-science conservation.
