This month MLUC honors the efforts of Linda Braceland for her vision of helping to revitalize Chester’s downtown business district through the arts.
Linda opened a small, but vibrant gallery in the middle of Chester in 2011 in what was once a children’s clothing store. She invited local artists to participate and eventually many became members of the board. As it has grown, many Chester residents and students of Chester schools have gained support by showing and selling their paintings and sculptures in Linda’s gallery.
