Learn how to create clay relief sketches at the Philadelphia Zoo.
In this 4-week class, Treacy Zeigler will instruct students on creating clay relief sketches at the Philadelphia Zoo. The four classes will be focused on four themes: the gestalt of the animals; exploring empathy through portraiture; the animal in movement (consider how an elephant moves in a marionette manner); and groups of animals. The class will also explore anatomy, form, composition and art history as references.
