Academy of Notre Dame Speaker Series - Laura Tierney

As part of ND Cares, Notre Dame’s focus on the well-being of students, we welcome Laura Tierney, Founder and CEO of The Social Institute (TSI), on Wednesday, February 15 at 6:30 pm. This fall, TSI has been working with our Middle School to offer a gamified program that empowers students to navigate their social world – including social media and technology – positively in order to fuel their health, happiness, and future success. TSI’s Positive Approach Benefits component allows students to utilize social media and technology in wholesome ways, and parents will leave her talk with some useful tools to support their children in using technology in healthy ways.
