4th Annual Steps to Cure Sarcoma Family Fun Run/Walk

The event benefits the Sarcoma Program at the University of Pennsylvania’s Abramson Cancer Center. Last year we had more than 1,500 attendees and raised over $160,000 for sarcoma research (100% of all funds raised goes directly to research). Penn Medicine’s Sarcoma Program has a collaborative research network between the Abramson Cancer Center at Penn Medicine, the Penn Veterinary School, and the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). The collective team helps children, adults and dogs with sarcoma.

Raising funds is an important part of our mission, but as anyone who has been to our event has seen, the genuine camaraderie of families, doctors, researchers, nurses, patients, survivors and community members is paramount.
