102nd Bala Cynwyd 4th of July Celebration

Wednesday, July 4, 2018 marks the 102^nd anniversary of The Neighborhood Club of Bala Cynwyd Independence Day Celebration.  The parade will feature neighborhood children riding decorated bicycles, marchers in costumes, clowns, jugglers, stilt walkers, floats, fire trucks, police, and public officials. The parade will begin at 9:30 a.m. and end at the Playground in Bala Cynwyd Park around 10:00 a.m.

Bring your blankets and beach chairs to the Park and enjoy a patriotic program including:  inspirational and patriotic speakers, music provided by The Summer Sounds Pop Band, and recognition of our Citizen and Merchant of the Year.

Carnival rides, games, foot races, and the ever-popular egg toss will follow.  Prizes will be awarded to parade participants as well as to the winners of the races.  The Club also awards a prize to the house along the parade route that displays the best patriotic decorations.  Union Fire Association will serve kosher hot dogs and sodas and other Saffron Indian Kitchen and I Want Moore Bakery will be there with sweet and savory treats too!  Come see our neighborhood children enjoy the pony rides, petting zoo, exotic animals, moon bounce, trackless train, obstacle course, extreme rock wall, and carousel.

You can purchase bracelets for $15.00 each, or two for $25.00.  Each bracelet will allow the wearer to enjoy all of the games and rides as many times as desired for the flat price.  You can purchase sets of tickets in small denominations as well.
