The Garden Shoppe was founded in 1984 by Dave and Gerri Whetstone. It’s orginal start was a seasonal stand selling Easter and Mother’s Day flowers and Christmas trees. In 1999, they opened a full time store selling garden gifts and supplies and selling flowers year round. Over the next couple years, they added Halloween decorations, a full time Christmas shop and a seasonal outdoor Farmer’s Market. Dave retired in 2004, but Gerri is there almost everyday.
