Have you ever been out walking and up ahead you see a mom pushing a stroller and then you get up closer to take a peek and realize it’s not a sweet little baby in the carriage at all – it’s hairy, whiskered and has a tail!
My husband and I take walks together and we’ve always scoffed at people who walk their pets in strollers. We honestly didn’t get it and we adore our two dogs. But seriously, there’s something just not right about it. But Americans must be strolling around town with their pets because Amazon has hundreds of pet strollers to choose from. How do I know this? Well, I’m currently in the market for one.
Two weeks ago my little furbaby Mumford started having “episodes” of panting, shaking and neck spasms. We’ve been to the ER, our regular vet and a Neurologist. He’s had an MRI and he’s got a buldging disc. Mumford’s on “Crate Rest” for a month which means no running, no playing, no walks, no jumping, and no stairs… so no fun… for all of us.
So, much to my husband’s horror, I’ll be that lady you see walking with a stroller, I’ll pass and you’ll take a peek over and see this…
No it’s not a wrinkled, little old man breathing like Darth Vadar, it’s just Mumford. Please don’t scoff.
And honestly there’s something just not right about it.
