Some of you may already know me (hey, it’s a small world, right?) and how lucky you are. I’m kidding, I’m KIDDING. But really, if you don’t already know me as the glasses-wearing, all-over-town strolling, athleisurewear-as-real-clothes wearing (this is not a new pandemic thing), playground-frequenting, camera-toting Havertown mom, then, I’d like to say “hello!” There, now we’ve met and I like you already!
When I’m not doing all of the things I just mentioned, I’m busy being the CEO of my, er, family. Actually, scratch that. I’m busy being ALL of the letters for my family. I’m the CAO (Chief Adventure Officer). I’m the CBO (Chief Bathtime Officer). I’m the CCO (Chief Cooking Officer). I’m the…well…before I get through the entire alphabet, you get the idea. I’m a single mom of two beautifully blue-eyed and blonde-haired little gremlins. They’re just like the movie, really. Ridiculously adorable most of the time, but don’t dare cut a sandwich into squares instead of triangles, you know? My son is 8 and my daughter is 2 and despite my joking, they’re what it’s all about for me. Most of my life is lived in “mom mode,” but I do also get to “de-mom” when I go to my “real job” teaching in the Advertising Department at Temple University a few days a week. And, back to the previously mentioned camera-toting, I’m a freelance photographer and graphic designer. I really love all of my jobs. Speaking of love, I sure love being a fellow neighbor on the Main Line! However, since I’m entering chapter book territory here, I’ll wrap things up. I’ll tell you all about my Main Line love next time.
Well, I started with a “hello” and I’ll end with a “talk soon!” Enjoy all things summer happening in our neighborhood and bring on that sunshine!
