It’s the final days of summer. That makes me sad. I remember when my kids were young by mid-August I would be racking my brain to find things to do. My kids are now older and far away, and my husband and I have no problem thinking of all the things we want to do. Summer is just not long enough! We have our own Summer Bucket list and this year Chanticleer was on the list so last week we went. I’ve been there before but it was my husband’s first time. He kept saying, “I’m blown away! I had no idea!” It’s spectacular! The garden loop is a mile long and you can walk the gardens in about 2 hours. And I highly recommend you pack a picnic! There are tables and different spots all around the gardens to sit and enjoy.
