Ridley Creek State Park provides history, scenic beauty and natural wonders. There are hundreds of picnic tables in picnic areas. Each area is equipped with restrooms and charcoal grills. Several of the areas have large fields, playground equipment, or picnic pavilions that can be reserved up to 11 months in advance for a fee. The 5-mile, paved Multi-use Trail along Sycamore Mills and Forge roads is designated for bicycles, joggers/walkers and cross-country skiers. |

Running: Betzwood Trail
Horseshoe Trail: The Horseshoe Trail is a 120-mile trail traveling from Valley Forge to just north of Hershey. the trail is also a horseback riding trail. It connects with the Appalachian Trail on Sharp Mountain. Trail maps are available from the visitor's center at Valley Forge Historical Park. |
